Photos of the falls on the way to the Maid of the Mist.

For our second wedding anniversary, we stayed at the historic Red

Coach Inn in Niagara Falls (the honeymoon capital of the world...

                                  at least in the 1950s).

Our hotel was alongside the river, just a few blocks before the

                                           American Falls.

We started our sight seeing adventure with the historic Maid of the Mist

boat tour (and got very wet, of course!)

A view of the American Falls from the Maid of the Mist.

These were taken while on the Maid of the Mist.

     Not too wet............ yet!!!!
The American Falls and the smaller Bridal Veil Falls next to it.
We both liked the American Falls due to the abundance of rocks at the

bottom and the beautiful way that the water flowed around them.

The observation tower from the Maid of the Mist dock station.
A closer view of Bridal Veil Falls, the rocks and the Cave of the Winds tour.
Chris in his spiffy souvenir Maid of the Mist rain poncho.
A preview of the Cave of the Winds tour alongside Bridal Veil Falls.
Horseshoe Falls on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls.
A 7-year-old boy survived a fall off Horseshoe Falls in a 1960 boating

accident and a man who went over the falls as a stunt in 2003 was fined

    $10,000.  Can we say lucky???

We learned all about the history of "dumb" people going over the falls in

barrels and walking tightropes across the falls at the DareDevil Muesuem.

More shots from around the falls.

A view of the top of Horseshoe Falls from the American side. Pretty impressive!
A view of Goat Island and the entrance to Cave of the Winds.
The Maid of the Mist (once enjoyed by none other than Marilyn Monroe).
Chris stopping for a photo on the observation deck.

The Cave of the Winds tour.  There isn't actually a cave anymore.

This was Nina's favorite tour because you get to get up close and personal

      with Bridal Veil Falls.

    The mist was fantastic!!!
Posing in our lovely yellow souvenir rain ponchos.
Nina becoming one with the falls....
Every year, they rebuild the wooden planks that people walk on... yikes!
A truly stunning photo of the rocks.
   This maybe a "framer."
     The infamous Hurricane Deck.
Lots and lots of fun and again......... wet!!!!
   Ahhhhhh.... the seagulls.

A closer view of the Canadian Falls from the American side.

Up close view of Horseshoe Falls on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls.
Rainbows are a constant in Niagara Falls!!!!
   Wow.... need we say more!?

A truly gigantic horseshoe shaped waterfall....
